Who we are
Blagrave is a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
We fund and collaborate with partners to bring lasting change to the lives of young people investing in them as powerful forces for change and acting upon their right to be heard in pursuit of a fair and just society.
We fund exceptional youth charities serving young people in the poorest parts of the South East of England. Alongside this, we fund work on a national level that supports listening and accountability practices within the youth sector.
We fund young people directly, supporting them to lead the change they want to see. We prioritise young people with lived experience of the injustices they are trying to change and support individuals, movements and social enterprises across England.
We fund policy research and advocacy that meaningfully involves young people, especially those currently most excluded but impacted by policy decisions. We want to ensure youth policy achieves the best outcomes with and for these young people.
“I think it’s right to give the power to young people – if adults do it on our behalf they are likely to get it wrong. The world has changed since the 1990s and we know our own reality.”
