Funding for young people interested in craft apprenticeships

The QEST Craft Apprenticeship Scheme

Created in 1990 as a response to the rapid decline in traditional crafts,  Blagrave Trust’s partner QEST’s aim is to support the best of British craftspeople by retaining and developing essential craft skills. QEST offers restriction-free funding to employers for apprentices of up to £18,000 over a period of 1-3 years (£6 k per annum); whether funding for equipment, training or helping provide the living wage – crucial to ensuring young people are able to access these opportunities.

Employer/Apprentices must approach QEST as a team in order to apply for funding and this can be done through the QEST website with apprenticeship funding awarded in the Autumn after a rigorous selection process. See more information here: Apprenticeship Opportunities
