Who we are

Blagrave is a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
We fund and collaborate with partners to bring lasting change to the lives of young people. We invest in them as powerful forces for change and act upon their right to be heard in pursuit of a fair and just society.

We fund

Youth
organisations

We fund exceptional youth charities serving young people aged 16-25 in Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Wiltshire. The Listening Fund supported work on a national level that improves listening and accountability practices within the youth sector.

Young people
directly

We fund young people directly, supporting them to lead the change they want to see. We prioritise young people with lived experience of the injustices they are trying to change and support individuals, collectives, and social enterprises across England.

Youth
organising

We fund youth organising and are committed to building and strengthening the UK field of practice. We prioritise working in collaboration to achieve this and are guided by young people, practitioners, and leaders in this field.

Better youth
policy

Our current policy partners meaningfully involve young people to ensure youth policy achieves the best outcomes for them. We are not accepting new proposals for funding in this area.

“I think it’s right to give the power to young people – if adults do it on our behalf they are likely to get it wrong. The world has changed since the 1990s and we know our own reality.”
