A new report from the Clore Foundation reveals that organisations in the third sector are three time less likely than companies to offer leadership development opportunities to their staff.
Whilst the charities responding to their survey indicated that they saw leadership as a key sustainability issue, lack of resources (money and time) prevented them from prioritising it. But with so many social issues needing the support of these organisations, can we really afford for charities to overlook this?
