New Regional Grants Manager

We are happy to announce that Tessa Hibbert will be starting work for the Blagrave Trust next week.  Tessa will lead on monitoring and evaluation for Blagrave and local partnerships, though given our size she will of course be involved in all aspects of Blagrave’s work.

Tessa has a background working  with young people and is a qualified youth worker.  Her career in the voluntary sector started in fundraising and project management for national charities including Comic Relief and Shelter.  In 2002 she moved to the South West and began working on a consultancy basis in the youth sector.  She specialises in impact management and in 2013-14 worked with the Young Foundation on a DfE funded initiative to support the youth sector to evidence their impact.  She joins us from the Somerset Community Foundation  where she was Senior Programmes Manager, overseeing the Foundation’s diverse portfolio of grants across the county.  She lives in Wiltshire with her family and is Chair of Governors to her local primary school in her spare time.   Tessa holds a BA from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and an MA in Youth Work and Community Development from De Montfort University.

We warmly welcome Tessa and I’m sure our partners will look forward to meeting her over the next months!
