A funder dedicated to supporting young people aged 14-25 to transition successfully into adulthood. We seek out partnerships with organizations who put young people at the centre of their work. We believe that building trusting relationships, and learning through listening and responding to feedback are essential components of productive partnerships that enable social change. We try to model these values in the way we work with our funding partners.
We provide unrestricted multi-year funding to exceptional youth charities. We are particularly interested in initiatives that give young people a meaningful voice within the organisations that serve them, in their communities, and nationally. We support knowledge exchange, collaboration and learning through convening events that bring our partners together, making space for reflection and networking.
We work primarily in Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Wiltshire – supporting charities that are rooted in those communities. We are committed to ensuring that at least 50% of our funding goes to the poorest areas within the region. Occasionally we fund national charities that have a unique role to fill supporting the sector or influencing policy.
We are passionate about doing everything we can to support – and increase – the effectiveness of the organisations that we fund. We set ourselves high standards from which to hold ourselves to account and monitor and review our own progress. Read our commitment statement for more.
