Ava is the founder of Not A Trend, a youth-led anti-racist campaign, that works primarily with schools to help transform their environments by implementing decolonial and anti-racist principles. The campaign’s first funding came from the Challenge and Change Programme, which not only provided financial support to advance its work but also helped shape it into a fully-fledged organization.
Alongside this, Ava is in her final year at the University of Leeds, where she has been involved in policy research and has contributed to running an alternative journalism magazine.
