Jhemar joined Blagrave in April 2025 to assist in the overseeing of the Trust’s Challenge and Change fund investing in young people directly to enable youth led lasting change in areas that directly impact them.
Jhemar has a background in youth work with a range of grassroots and statutory organisations alongside nearly a decade of experience in youth led activism on a local and national level. He has also advised stakeholders on youth engagement whilst working on the frontline working with young people facing some of the most social injustice within society.
Jhemar is passionate about using his lived experience as a young South Londoner that overcame many challenges to equip young people with the skills and resources to empower them to be the changes they want to see.
