Challenge and Transform

Challenge and Transform was conceived after research in 2023 highlighted a lack of funding and support for Black and racially minoritised led groups outside London. We provide funding, a flexible and supportive grant relationship, and additional support on fundraising and governance.

I think so many things over the last year or two with the flags and the protests and everything, that have, even if it's subconsciously, caused levels of anxiety, that you don't feel like there's anywhere to really go to kind of safely maybe talk about those things.

My biggest dream, personally, is to see any person from our communities, who are running a charity, or a CIC, to be able to do that full-time. And not having to work two, three, four other jobs.
