Diversity Data

Data on our trustees, employees and advisers 2025
At Blagrave we're committed to building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to be themselves.

We want our team to reflect a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we know that diversity makes us stronger and better at the work we do.  As part of this commitment, we run an annual diversity monitoring survey for our trustees, employees and advisers. We know this is only one small part of a much bigger conversation about equity and inclusion, but it helps us understand who we are as an organisation and where we need to keep improving.

This is our fourth year of collecting this information. The survey asks about a range of characteristics, including age, disability and health conditions, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and whether people identify as having lived experience of the young people we serve.

We had 23 responses, including:

  • 3 of 5 advisers
  • 12 out of 13 employees (one employee responded as adviser)
  • 8 out of 10 trustees

Please note that the survey reflects the composition of the Blagrave team (employees, advisers and trustees) in December 2025.

Age

Ethnicity

Participants shared a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, reflecting the diversity within the group. These included individuals who identified as Indian (2), African (6), Caribbean (2) and Arab (1). Several participants described mixed or multiple ethnic identities, including African Irish, Black Caribbean and White British. Among those who identified as White British, 8 participants shared this background, alongside 1 participant who identified as Mixed British and Gypsy.
