Roots & Routes

Roots & Routes is a collaborative fund that supports young climate changemakers, collectives, youth-led organisations and climate justice infrastructure in England.

Roots and Routes combines the funds, expertise and networks of Blagrave Trust, Energy Saving Trust Foundation, OVO Foundation Co-op Foundation and Impatience Earth.

Our aim is to educate and upskill a group of young, curious individuals from diverse backgrounds, who may not have thought about a career in sustainability within the built environment sector before. Over the past five years, we've welcomed over sixty participants, with 66% of them securing a position in the sector within 9 months.

We believe that reconnecting with the land is an act of resistance, healing and self-determination.
